COMPANIES & PRODUCTS I ENDORSE:
This is my attempt to give credit for customer service and quality products. Having owned "Genesis" for over ten years, I have had my share of products and service that were not up to par.
of all the upgrades and boat projects to prepare for offshore
cruising, finding a sail maker has been the most difficult. Many
lofts claim to build "cruising sails", but I found them to be lacking
in design and quality, if they built you a non- racing sail, then it
was a "cruising sail". When I met Carol Hasse, the owner of Port
Townsend Sails, I finally found the real deal. They only build
cruising sails. She has a lot of blue water experience, will spend
time with you and her sails are works of art.
(highly recommended)
great customer service, great product, produces light in the boat
like a lamp in your home, yet is energy efficient and upgrades the interior
excellent customer service, lots of boat building products, tools, etc,
best selection of fasteners
we cruised to Key West/Dry Tortugas in 1998 for a season and have
since then added 1000 hours to this unit, recently replaced a
chip board and pump, this is a strong A/P, good customer service
they awl gripped my spars, if you want the best this is a good choice, Jim, the
manager is very experienced and helpful
owned a CQR and a RAY (Bruce) for five years, used both enough
to appreciate the quality, this is a classic case of you get what you pay
for, your primary anchor/rode is the last thing to save money on
"Genesis" came with the old Par diaphragm pumps, I tried more than one
brand before settling on SHURFLO, however I did not like the new
smart series pumps, but they refunded me and actually ask for product
input, the 4 gpm/2 gallon SS accumulator tank is a nice set up
my business has been engine water pumps, but they have much more, very
good prices, quick delivery and excellent service
they build high quality marine LED lights for the military but sell to
the public, the best masthead tri-color/anchor I could find, excellent service
I replaced 3/8 BBB ACCO chain with 5/16 HT but could not find a shackle
that was strong enough, this company has it all, G-209-A series for marine
excellent service, knowledgeable staff, great prices
excellent service, owner Tom is a sailor and knows this business, competitive
pricing, quality products, excellent advice
large company with many products, excellent prices on RACOR filters, etc
I have to include Shannon, for they have a passion for building offshore
yachts that is on the highest level, this is one of those rare companies that
puts quality and service before money
Unfortunately, I found out about Ocean Options after I had purchased my Sea
Recovery watermaker from another dealer. They have a very knowledgeable
staff that understands watermaker installation. If you are going to buy a Sea
Recovery watermaker and install it yourself, I highly recommend that you buy
it from Ocean Options. I found about them from Shannon Yachts and
they answered my installation questions even though I did not buy my unit
from them. Now, that's great customer service!
